    Scene notes:

    …at dusk on Mt Tamalpais as sunset passes by. Stratocumulus clouds stretch for miles far below the serene meadow hills with creeping, windblown trees. The open sky is a ‘Hoki’ color, or a dusty-blue, and the horizon is a mix of Dusky Rose and Pale Oranges that make up the quarter of the frame. California sage brush, Chaparral, and Oaks are the main types of trees and shrubs shown.

    Needles District, Canyonlands. The meadow has a towering rock formation silhouette (right) against the evening sky which has a sliver or portal of open blue throughout. The mostly cloudy sky has areas of golden, glowing rain clouds that move overhead.

    Original footage from 2005. The storm floats overhead, rain catching sunlight from the other side of the cumulonimbus on the west. Enough filters through during sunset that the precipitation takes on bright orange hues.

    The deep dark of the ‘blue hour’ that comes after sunset, with just a few spots of cloud catching glowing pink light, but the clouds continue moving in complex patterns. The mountains are having a definite effect.
