In the late afternoon, just before sunset, the sun has moved below the mountains. On the peaks, some clouds are created by the high winds and pour over the top of the frame. The foreground is a unique desert landscape of stone and decomposed granite.

Humans are seen strolling rapidly on the beach as silhouettes from afar, and the ocean about an eight of the frame, which is shown with very gentle waves, and changes with the sky color as it changes. Far away, the sun goes behind a smaller sized Cumulonimbus around 10 miles away near the horizon, and minor sunbeams are briefly seen. In the upper levels of the sky above, Cirrus clouds are made reddish, then pink.

On the forest floor of a hillside, the late day shadows shift among the branches, leaves, and ferns.

On rain, light rays are carved by the shade of the clouds which the sun is also illuminating vividly. Anvil top glow gold momentarily as the frame pans up to the setting where clouds speed by at multiple levels and pink plays on the highest, intricate details of the undersides of clouds- momentarily.

Different shadows from the varying cloud cover. Cirrostratus are seen from afar near the horizon. This layer of moisture is dense enough to be opaque with the sun directly behind it. The sliver of blue sky between clouds persists.

On complex red sandstone formations, shadows shift intermittently and then for the end duration as the sun sets. Facing east, with mid-level Castellanus clouds appearing to move away as the camera physically pans to the right, where shrublands lay before the stones.

The landscape is two-thirds of the frame, a forest of hills and ridges which extend into a vast plain. The humid air allows the radiant intensity to glow on these lands, the vapor both absorbs and emits some of the light in all directions. The sun moves lower into the dusk behind the horizon, leaving Cirrus clouds illuminated red and pink from below, and then, night falls.
