… and river flowing below at sunset with traffic. Along the Sacramento River is downtown Sacramento’s skyline, its distinctive yellow tower bridge spanning the river at sunset facing east, the UAS moves laterally and backwards as cloud colors fade after the sun has set.

Canyonlands, Utah, near the Anticline Overlook, where a long rocky road leads to these sudden cliffs and viewpoint. Far below at right, a canyon is completely shadowed. In the foreground, a three-sided precipice of a rocky outcrop. The left frame has a sheer cliff face of several hundred meters, as it slowly brightens.

Filling the sky at dawn are Cirrocumulus clouds. Out of the frame and over the horizon, other clouds block out the light in the second half of the clip. Grapefruit colors and pinks shine on the upper-level clouds as a one second interval is used to create a longer clip.

Original footage from 2005. The storm floats overhead, rain catching sunlight from the other side of the cumulonimbus on the west. Enough filters through during sunset that the precipitation takes on bright orange hues.
