The cloud approaches darkening the valley landscape below. An incoming Nimbus cloud blocks the light, rain can be seen in the distance, precipitating. The cloud takes up the whole of the sky.

An orographically-formed cloud contained on the upper slopes of Mt Shasta, outer parts evaporating to reveal it blanketing smoothly the peaks and peaet of the northern California mountain. The ancient volcano is dormant and comprises two thirds of the frame: the blue sky above.
