Scene notes:
Mid-day, a vast fog bank smothers the winter day of the Willamette Valley while looking east from Spencer Butte. In the distance: the snow-covered Three Sisters, of the Cascade Range in Oregon.

Quickly flowing down the east face of the mountain range, cold air condenses water molecules in the warmer air of the eastern slope, creating a long and ephemeral cloud along the normal fault where the Sierras end in the east.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
18 seconds, 28 frames.
A three second interval is used for short timespan clips such as these. If not for the steep slopes of the valley cliffs, cloaked partly in dense winter fog, this scene could be reminiscent of many northern climates. The cerulean late afternoon sky is unobscured along much of the top third of the frame, but the clouds are moving everywhere.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
11 seconds and 3 frames.
Slow life, newer lava flows, and a mountain in a cloud. A recently active volcano with very little in the way of sediment for plant growth. The UAS flies over a volcanic landscape. Shallow, frozen puddles remain on low points from recent rain. Slow life grows in what little soil there is; this ground is so new in its life.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
31 seconds and 22 frames.
An original, recently remastered time-lapse of the sky with clouds.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
6 seconds and 26 frames.
Panning right physically along the alpine meadows of Rocky Mountain National Park. Clouds have begun to inundate the scene, just above and nearly at point of view-level. The continuation of another clip.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
20 seconds and 27 frames.
A bright marine fog layer slowly evaporates around the Golden Gate Bridge, a small ship is seen exiting as the fog recedes. The Marin Headlights are exposed to day in the middle ground between this point of view and the bay.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
9 seconds and 16 frames.
… Volcanic landscape with a fog layer just below in the medium distance. Small yellow flowers of the foreground on a volcanic landscape on Big Island, a cloud stratus layer floats just below one shrubland, a leading edge not far. Where the cloud is staved off, a hill, half-red from volcanic ash and soil, stands out.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
9 seconds and 20 frames.
