Original footage from 2005. The storm floats overhead, rain catching sunlight from the other side of the cumulonimbus on the west. Enough filters through during sunset that the precipitation takes on bright orange hues.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
9 seconds.
The deep dark of the ‘blue hour’ that comes after sunset, with just a few spots of cloud catching glowing pink light, but the clouds continue moving in complex patterns. The mountains are having a definite effect.

The sunset at the same location as clip #DSK023. The sawback mountain ridge (right) creates an interesting pale cloud formation at dusk as the light fades.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
8 seconds and 27 frames.
The Yosemite River flows through the scene of many steaming geysers that span the frame. The mid-level sunset clouds catch the light of the sunset, while the river reflects their light.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
8 seconds and 20 frames.
…Colorful, peak light, magic clouds looking northwest in Banff. The sunrise over Banff National Park. Lower clouds and the sharp peaks of the mountains on the left of the frame are first to be very brightly illuminated.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
8 seconds and 17 frames.
A slow desert scene featuring a few high clouds and arid sand dunes below. The sand dunes comprise ABOUT of half the frame. The distant mountain ridges occupy one fifth. The peaks of Black, Funeral, and Grapevine mountains are off to the east in the distance. The shadows on the ground in particular become longer.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
10 seconds and 21 frames.
