A clip divided by an exposure adjustment. The storm (right)moves into view as the daylight wanes, and the desert landscape with its red clay dims. In the distance three sharply pointed hills have eroded to the point where one tiny peak stands out on each mound, rock piles evenly spread around from crumbling.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
7 seconds and 21 frames.
A diagonally-oriented cloud formation stretches across the frame as higher clouds also meander overhead. On the landscape, a turret-shaped boulder and other oddly shaped formations (right).
Time-lapse length (30 fps):

A desert scene in Canyonlands National Park, Needles district. Heavy clouds are overhead in this late-afternoon scene, and the shadows go over the foreground. In the background, around four tenths of the way up the frame, are the jagged needle-like formations this district is named after. The area around the needles is hike-able after a road that is relatively inaccessible.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
9 seconds and 3 frames.
Canyonlands, Utah, near the Anticline Overlook, where a long rocky road leads to these sudden cliffs and viewpoint. Far below at right, a canyon is completely shadowed. In the foreground, a three-sided precipice of a rocky outcrop. The left frame has a sheer cliff face of several hundred meters, as it slowly brightens.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
9 seconds and 15 frames.
Needles District, Canyonlands. The meadow has a towering rock formation silhouette (right) against the evening sky which has a sliver or portal of open blue throughout. The mostly cloudy sky has areas of golden, glowing rain clouds that move overhead.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
9 seconds and 17 frames.
The overlook is illuminated by the sun over the Utah desert. A one-third sky afternoon where mid-level clouds cut shadows onto the afternoon light. The desert landscape is vast and shadowed, but the horizon is brightly lit.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
19 seconds and 18 frames.
