The new term ‘sondering’ refers to wondering about the lives of strangers when you see them from afar. Each light point moving on the ground is at least one, and up to a couple of hundred people in each of the airborne lights, almost all of which are passenger flights.
Each point is a different experience and vantage of the world that one can only ponder. But wonder for fifteen minutes and perhaps feel perspective greater than before.
