In one of the briefest Night clips, the city is shown from south of downtown getting darker while lighting up with building lights as night falls. Helicopter and cars are seen zooming by in the distance.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
1 minute 14 seconds.
Looking down a side-street in mid-town San Francisco at a view of several large buildings including a sharply-pointed skyscraper called ‘Transamerica Pyramid’, an ominous looking building of office space and nearly 900 ft (300 m) tall. Busy city streets, with mid-2000s cars, cross paths, as traffic alternates turns moving with the traffic lights. This side street the observer looks down is dimly lit and mostly empty, a steep downward slope.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
32 seconds and 8 frames.
…at San Francisco Airport, SFO at night under rainy clouds. Rain is shown entering the frame from left in the rain clouds over the airport as planes continue to land, moving against the rain’s direction in the frame, over the water. As with the other three in this series, the clouds are largely illuminated by city lights.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
8 seconds and 7 frames.
… both directions and airplanes taking off in the night sky. A constant flow of traffic pours through both ways of the Golden Gate Bridge over the bay, which lightly reflects the lights of the bridge itself. Airplanes, passenger liners are seen taking off and veering to the right throughout in the sky at upper portion of the frame this cloudless evening. The lights of the radio towers on Twin Peaks just left of the right pillar on the bridge rise high, a few miles away. The bay appears to be pouring in water constantly on the top surface.
Time-lapse length (30 fps):
7 seconds and 25 frames.
… reddish-tinged clouds from city lights as they pass by over. Demonstrating the power of city lights in the night sky, long exposures show the bright illumination of passing rain clouds. These clouds are too stable or short to create lightning, but can make massive precipitation, as is nearly every day in the summer in this part of the state of Florida. Their massive size is shadowed but easily seen in the upper-right. Helicopters or light airplanes are seen flying along the skyline’s altitude.

… Airport, SFO at night under rainy clouds. The continuation of another clip (the camera has been moved). The airplane traffic (bottom right) zips by more frequently, landing at the airport. Other air traffic is seen. The city lights take up a sliver of the bottom of the frame. The
