Above clouds and fog, the air is usually pristine, owing to the conditions that formed the inverted layer of moisture. Climb above the fog on the steepest, highest hill or mountain around. Often times, you will find clips from Forest Light taken moments later or before, as the fog often varies in altitude. In North America and other countries with fog and hills, the winter months of November to January is when you will find these scenes, particularly the Pacific northwest. In the Day Light collection, Clips STL258-264 also feature fog formations not as close-up. These clips take place mostly at sunset but are not part of Dusk and Dawn Light.

Some of these clips are similar but are not duplicates, like Clip STL076 and 082.
